Ethics and Medics

This newsletter has been published ten times per year for many  years, and a collection of all of its issues would reveal a fairly complete compendium of Church opinion on various medico-moral issues.  The parent organization initially was known as the Pope John Center for Medical and Moral Education, located in Braintree, Massachusetts.  Several years ago they relocated to Brighton, Massachusetts, on the campus of St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, the flagship of the Caritas Christi network in greater Boston. In 2004 they moved to Philadelphia, PA.

This is a valuable resource written in a very scholarly/scientific manner by members of this think-tank, now known as the National Catholic Bioethics Center.  Occasionally members of the Guild are called upon to write articles or review some that are written.

Further information about the National Catholic Bioethics Center can be obtained at its website, www.ncbcenter.org
